Alteration Atelier is an appointment-led tailoring studio in Škofja Loka focused on clothing alterations, garment remodelling, and upcycling. We help customers update everyday pieces, reshape vintage finds, and rework sentimental garments with a clear process and practical advice.

From the first inquiry to the final collection, we explain what can be achieved with the existing fabric, construction, and condition of the garment. That makes each project transparent, workable, and suited to the piece in front of us.

Assessment first

Every project begins with an inquiry and a garment assessment. We look at the fabric, construction, seam allowances, and condition before discussing the scope and quote.

Design agreed in advance

For redesign work, we review the concept before any sewing begins. This helps set realistic expectations and keeps the final result aligned with the approved plan.

Fit checked at collection

At collection, we check the fit or finish again and handle any small agreed adjustments carefully. The goal is a finished garment that feels considered and wearable.
